Faculty of Engineering, Université de Sherbrooke had invited KrownCORP to sponsor and attend a symposium organized to promote the research work of students within the University.This event was dedicated primarily to master’s and doctoral candidates at the Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology Engineering at the University.
The target audience for KrownCORP were the Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows Graduate students in Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology Engineering Teachers and support staff. This event offered great potential on the human resources side: internships, research projects, jobs.
Many graduates attended the opening conference. KrownCORP President Jeremie Bourgeois, along with Greg Gomes and Guy Melhuish spent the day meeting with the undergraduate and graduate students.
This event proved to be an ideal showcase for hiring highly qualified personnel: employment, internship, research project. Jeremie Bourgeois was introduced to Dr. Bruna Rego de Vasconcelos, PhD. Bruna is doing her Post Doc at the University of Sherbrooke and has now taken a position with KrownCorp as R&D Advisor.
KrownCORP intends to maintain its close association with Sherbrooke University and will most certainly attend future symposiums.
